With the desire to contribute to the development of environmentally friendly agriculture for the health of Vietnamese people, after returning home with a Master of Environmental Science from the University of East Anglia, Nguyen Phuong Thao and her husband, Nguyen Luong Quyet founded Nguyen Khoi Farm Joint Stock Company and started the implementation of the first "Recirculating organic farming model" startup in Vietnam. This is one of 16 excellent ideas selected from more than 700 startup ideas to be awarded in the Innovation Entrepreneurship Competition "Women and the future of a green economy" (PoC3) by the Center for Innovation Vietnam Climate Change Response Innovative (VCIC) organization.

From the support and companionship of VCIC, Nguyen Khoi Farm, under the guidance of Nguyen Phuong Thao, has constantly developed the startup idea, perfected the business model and achieved outstanding development. Currently, Nguyen Khoi Farm is present at supermarkets and high-end food stores in Vietnam. Revenue in 2020 will double that of 2019 and has now expanded a second farm to cater to market demand.

After the success at PoC3 Competition, Nguyen Khoi Farm continued to receive many prestigious awards such as: En Xanh, Aus4innovation, VietFarm Award ... Most recently, the Award of Model Start-up, category honoring Vuong alumni The UK plays a pivotal role in creating innovative initiatives and solutions. This is a prestigious global award organized to honor the higher education system and postgraduate in the UK, and the achievements of alumni who have studied in the UK around the world. . Nguyen Khoi Farm excellently passed 1,300 applications from the UK alumni community in more than 114 countries, representing more than 148 universities across the UK. There are three categories of awards: The Professional Achievement Award, The Entrepreneurial Award, and The Social Impact Award.
