Currently, Vietnam's agricultural industry emits 70 million tons of agricultural waste annually, this huge amount of livestock waste is often not thoroughly treated, causing environmental pollution: water pollution, air pollution. gases, low manure quality and the creation of plant pathogens, global warming due to the burning of crop residues. The soil is hardy and discolored due to the abuse of chemical fertilizers, and little use of microbial organic fertilizers.
While simple composting is a possible solution to the above problem, farmers rarely have the patience to do so as it is a relatively lengthy process and requires careful attention.

With this situation, Microbiological and Environmental Technology Joint Stock Company (MITECOM), with the support of VCIC, produces and commercializes EMIC products - including effective microorganisms to help decompose waste products. agriculture into microbial organic compost, creating great efficiency for agriculture, improving the soil, ending environmental pollution caused by burning agricultural waste, reducing agricultural production costs, increasing income for households farm.

Although the environmental and commercial benefits of the product have been developed by MITECOM, changing farmers' chemical fertilizer use habits, which they have used for decades, is an obvious challenge.
With the support of VCIC, as of April 2017, MITECOM has continuously expanded production, accessed new markets, and brought products directly to many groups of farmers - who handle large amounts of rice straw. ; Rice husk; Corn husks; Cassava root; Peanut shells and leaves and leaves to increase their confidence in the new and cost-effective method of fertilizer application in replacing chemical fertilizers. Specifically, with more than 10,000 products sold, the total amount of CO2 reduced by 15,600 tons, created 25 more jobs, including 12 women, the revenue of the business also increased by more than 30%. In addition, VCIC supported MITECOM to successfully call for funding up to $170,000 to further develop its business.
With the above encouraging results, MITECOM is currently a successful example in the field of clean technology in Vietnam in general and has the potential to expand to international markets.
