Mitecom provides technology solutions for application of science and technology to process straw into micro-organism program

Organizing from 15 to 30 November with four participating units which are Ha Noi communes, Duc Hoa, Xuan Thu (Soc Son district), Nguyen Trai (Thuong Tin district), Phu Nam An (Chuong My district), Program "Application of science and technology to process straw into micro-organism" in 2018 is expected to complete the guidelines, transfer technology to process straw which is environmentally friendly, create abundant fertilizer source for farmers. Microtechnology and environment Joint Stock Company Mitecom under VCIC connection has been selected as the main provider of solution and companion throughout the program.

According to statistics from the Hanoi Department of Natural Resources and Environment, it is estimated that more than 200,000 hectares of rice are planted annually in the city. After being burned, the straw produced about 4.7 million tons of CO2, 0.004 million tons of CH4, 0.11 million tons of CO, causing environmental damage equivalent to $ 200.3 million per year. People who breathe usually in the straw smoke can change the structure of respiratory apparatus, lung infection, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, lung cancer ... The burning of many straws at the same time not only affects the health but also warms up the atmosphere, causes the temperature to become hotter. It also has a serious impact on road and air traffic safety in the area.



From that, the Ministry of Science and Technology collaborated with the Central Youth Union to develop and implement the program "Application of science and technology to process straw into micro-organism ". The program was officially launched on the morning of October 13 in Soc Son district (Hanoi), with the participation of many ministries, departments, enterprises and local people.

At the ceremony, Mitecom officially signed a program coordinating with technology transfer for the Central Youth Union. This enterprise not only introduced and transferred the technology of producing organic fertilizer from straw by composting bio-preparations, it also guided the use of these products to produce organic fertilizer through anaerobic digestion, aerobic treatment to create microorganic organic fertilizer, contributing to reducing environmental pollution and creating organic fertilizer for sustainable agriculture.

According to the plan, by November 2018, the organizers will evaluate the results of the pilot model and if these are favorable, the model will be widely applied throughout the areas around Hanoi.



This is a potential Program that promises to bring economic-environmental-social benefits to all stakeholders, from farmers, enterprises to Center, MOST. On its side, VCIC will continue to support businesses in the process of product commercialization, connectivity and market expansion.
