Warm welcome for the delegation form Daejin Iniversity, south Korea to VCIC

On the Jan 10th, 2018, at the Ministry of Science and Technology office, Mr. Pham Duc Nghiem – Deputy Head of General Department – NATEC cum VCIC PMU Director and VCIC staffs were honored to welcome the delegation including more than 30 Daejin University students led by Mr. Lee Beom Jae - Chairman of International Trade of Korea Technology Association (I.T.K.T).

On the basis of a cooperation agreement between VCIC and ITKT, the delegation visited VCIC to learn more about NATEC and VCIC’s activities that focus on knowledge exchange, technology transfer and S&T cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.

In the meeting, Mr. Pham Duc Nghiem expressed happiness to greet the Daejin University delegation. He emphasized that the students’ interest in science and technology was the foundation for future sustainable development. He did hope that after the meeting, the students would acquire further information about innovation, knowledge exchange and technology transfer, which would be solid base for their study and career.

Next, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tien – VCIC’s Commercialization Expert introduced to the delegation the key activities of NATEC and VCIC in developing S&T market, promoting knowledge and technology transfer, supporting start-up, S&E enterprises in the field of innovation to cope with climate change.

In addition, Mr. Tien also answered some questions of students on issues such as the government's support programs in knowledge and technology transfer, the potential cooperation in technology transfer between Vietnam and Korea, industrial revolution 4.0 in and technology solutions for transportation in Vietnam.

At the end of the meeting, Ms. Dinh Me Linh - President of ITKT Asia said: "The meeting between NATEC, VCIC, and the South Korean delegation emphasized the cooperation between VCIC and ITKT in knowledge exchange between the young generations from 2 countries".
